PRODUCTS & FIT

Do STQ shoes run true to size?

STQ fit true to size! So, go with your most common US sneaker size. If you’re a half size, you can size up for a looser fit - or down for a more snug one.

 

Sizing varies among our shoe styles, but all of our shoes are medium width and most are full sizes only. Please note that some will contain half size.

Will my shoes stretch?

Great question! If your walking shoes are a bit snug to start, you can expect them to stretch about a quarter inch after a few weeks of wear. In contrast, your STQ shoes will likely retain their original shape. Either way, we recommend wearing them for 1-2 weeks to break in. Pro tip: trying them with socks can also help the shoes break in more easily!  

 

Please feel free to give them a try in the wild during your 30-day no-questions-asked trial period!

Are STQ good for flat feet?

Our padded insoles are made from an eco-friendly resin blend and are lined with massage points. This cushioned insert has very noticeable arch support compared to minimalist shoes. Everyone’s feet are different and we’ve heard from many flat-footed customers who find comfort in their STQ:)

 

For customers looking to use their own inserts or orthotics, our insole is easily removable to make these adjustments. However, some customers have noticed that they do not need to use their orthotics given the level of cushion, so it's worth a try!

Can you wash STQ insoles?

Our insoles can be washed by hand, and shouldn't be washed in the machine. We find that hand-washing will help preserve the longevity of your STQ insoles. I sometimes think of the shoes and insoles as a wool sweater - can be washed, but over-washing can affect structure and lifespan.

 

For hand-washing, we typically suggest applying a small amount of gentle detergent to the top. You can rinse the detergent off in lukewarm or cold water. To target the odor of the insoles, we recommend putting a few drops of tea tree or eucalyptus oil and a bit of gentle detergent in a bowl of lukewarm water. You can then wet the tops of the insoles with this oil and water mixture. Rinse with lukewarm or cold water.

 

And last, but certainly not least, be sure to let the insoles air dry!

How do I care for my STQ shoes?

If your shoes get dirty, we recommend brushing them off first to release any dirt. If washing your shoes is needed, it's best to wash them by hand using warm water. Washing your shoes as seldom as possible is recommended.

Are The Insoles Removable?

Yes, they are!—STQ's insoles are removable to fit custom insoles and orthotics, allowing you to maximize comfort and support to your liking.

 

Wearing STQ without insoles can also free up some space, too. You can use thicker insoles to make up any extra wiggle room as well.

Do I Need To Wear Socks?

Up to you! STQ shoes are very breathable, so you can choose to go with or without socks.

 

However, we do recommend wearing socks because they tend to help wick moisture and heat away from your feet, improving comfort and preventing early wear of the shoe.

ORDERS, SHIPPING & TRACKING

How will I know you've received my order?

We’ll send you an email confirmation of your order as soon as your payment has been approved.

Will I be kept informed of the status of my order?

As soon as your payment has been approved, we’ll send you an order confirmation email. As soon as your order ships (typically the next business day), you'll receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information (applicable in most countries).

If I want to order my STQ online, do I have to open an account?

No, you don't need to create a customer account to complete your purchase; you can choose to check out as a guest if you wish. Creating a customer account just gives you a quick way to speed through checkout in the future, view past orders, and enter any returns and exchanges.

I have an account but forgot my password. What should I do?

No worries. Simply visit the login page here and click on "forgot password". We'll send you a new password and you'll be on your merry way.

Can I expedite my order?

No problem! We offer 3-business day expedited shipping starting at $8.99. The final price for  this options will be given at checkout and is determined by order volume and shipping address.

 

Please note that we only ship and deliver on business days and that only expedited orders placed before 12:30 pm ET on a business day will ship that same day. For example, an order placed with 1-business day shipping on Thursday at 2 pm ET will ship out the next day, Friday, and arrive the following Monday.

How are you keeping distribution centers safe?

Our warehouse associates have daily temperature checks and are each provided with kits that include masks, sanitizers, and gloves. We've increased facility cleanings, including fogging several times per week. Plexiglass is being installed in high traffic areas, and associates are spaced out to adhere to social distance guidelines.

 

If at any time one of our warehouse associates tests positive for COVID-19, the warehouse facility will immediately shut down for deep sanitization and a full contact tracing review. If associates are found to have been in contact with the associate with COVID-19, they will be sent for immediate testing before they can return to the facility.

What if I want to cancel or change my order?

We try to fulfill orders very quickly; that said, please email us at support@stqshoes.com and we’ll see what we can do! If you’re just getting cold feet, hang on until you can give them a try–we think you’ll love them and if you don’t, you can always send them back for free within 30 days of purchase.

PAYMENTS & REFUNDS

When will I see the payment for my order reflected in my account?

Once your order is placed and processed, you’ll receive a confirmation email once everything has been approved. Credit cards and PayPal accounts will be debited once your order is placed.

When can I expect my refund?

Hang tight, it can take our warehouse up to two weeks to receive and process your return. We'll be sure to send a refund notification email as soon as we've issued your refund!

If I want a refund, how long will it take before I get my money back?

We'll need a little time to process your return. You shouldn't have to wait more than 14 business days to have your money refunded.

Does STQ offer discount codes or coupons?

At STQ, we work hard everyday to make premium-quality shoes that look great and feel amazing  - all while minimizing our impact on the planet and cost to you. That’s the beauty of selling directly to our fans! Because of this, we do not offer regular discounts or sales on our products. However, we do make exceptions from time to time, so be sure to subscribe to our email list  so you don’t miss out on promotional events!

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

What is your return/exchange policy?

Looking for another size, color, or simply want to return them? You have 30 days from the day your order arrives to make an exchange! Keep in mind that some promotional discounts might make your order non-eligible for refund returns.

 

Please note that shoes must be unworn and undamaged in their original packaging.

What if I lost my prepaid return label?

Please reach out to us through our Contact Us form. We're happy to help you with this.

Do you offer free return shipping?

No, we will provide you with a return label and require the customer to pay for the return label.

If I return my items, will I get a full refund?

Of course. If you wish to return items from your order, we'll refund the full purchase price. Products just need to be in original condition and packaging (must have original packaging intact).

Return if the size is not right? You pay shipping back or do I?

We offer free shipping, but the freight for return and replacement is at your own expense. Please check the size before placing an order.
